How it started

as the first project in Apple Developer Academy @BINUS, my team and I were eager to empower parking area user and parking area staff to make parking activity easier such as when the vehicle owner is going to get their vehicle out but it get stuck by another vehicle. we take it as our goal to solve

to find the contextual challenge we start to doing..

Investigation

we did the investigation by doing desk research, observation, interview

we did desk research in scope of world wide and Indonesia, we did interview to the students of Apple Developer Academy and some of staff in parking area, and we did observation right on the parking area that student of Apple Developer Academy park their vehicle.

based on our research, we get so many amazing insight

there are more than 5 companies in the building that have variation of clock in and out that make the parking area has crowded activities

crowded in parking area usually occur at noon daily

there are multiple parking area that has crowded place

the vehicle can be got out easily if:

• there are no vehicle that too close in surrounding
• there are no vehicle that make the exit route blocked
• the vehicle that block the exit route is not in steering lock mode </aside>

parking staff has walkie-talkie to communicate

parking area has poor signal strength

</aside>

the students feel bad when knowing their motorbike is being blocked by other vehicle so that they have to find parking staff to get help

there are no specific staff to assist parking activity but there are security have a side job to assist parking activity
