How it started

This this the first individual project in Apple Developer Academy. We are being introduced to Apple Technology. There are so many things (technologies) we can implement to our project to make it more efficient.

and we are randomly being grouped and the technology we will use is determined from the begining before the project development.

And I.. got Haptic as a technology I will use for this project with initial challenge “Reinvent things with Apple Technology” and we are not allowed to develop an iOS app.

I was so confused what am I gonna do for this project, until I realized that I need something for myself. That is “pomodoro notification” so I aware of time that being used while I’m doing something. So that I explore haptic from Apple Developer website

Investigation about haptic

As I read the haptic documentation on Apple Developer website, the platforms that supported haptic is iOS, macOS, and watchOS

I was thinking that I have to choose which platform I’m going to do, so I explored about macOS and watchOS characters for apps

macOS

• Productivity & multitasking Good enhancing efficiency and work well like notes, documents, project management
• Large screen utilization Great for using large screen for the activity like playing movie, editing
• Powerful computing needs Great for using high computational power like rendering, machine learning
• Keyboard & trackpad utilization Great for utilizing keyboard & trackpad like documents, coding

watchOS

• Quick interaction Great for apps that only need take actions within few seconds
